  WHAT CURRICULUM WILL BE USED?
abc

The Bible and alphabet will be incorporated as our main curriculum; which will be accentuated with holidays, weather, field trips, and show and tell!  First Semester curriculum will emphasize letter and number recognition as well as writing; and second semester it will emphasize reading and Spanish.  Calendars will go home at the beginning of the month with what will be taught that month.
For instance, 1 week in the fall, we will focus on A for apple and Adam.  We will practice writing letters and their name and for those interested, we will have an accelerated reading program. We will make sure that the reading program is complimentary to the curriculum taught in the Quincy Public Schools.

WHEN WILL THE CROSSING PRESCHOOL START

There will be a partial week of school the last week of August, full program August 31st.  We will follow the Quincy Public School schedule that will be distributed in the parent packet.

 WHEN IS THE OPEN HOUSE?

The open house for all classes will be in the auditorium.  Depending on Quincy Public School schedule Our Little Gardener’s (3 year olds) open house is on either August 17th.  The Little Gardeners will meet at 6:30 p.m.  Pre–K’s will be on August 18th  at 6:30 p.m.  We will have a time of looking, playing, and meeting the teachers.  There will be a short meeting to go over the handbook and distribute supply lists, registration forms, medical release forms, and collect registration fees.
