  WHAT CURRICULUM WILL BE USED?
abc

The Bible and alphabet will be incorporated as our main curriculum; which will be accentuated with holidays, weather, field trips, and show and tell!  First Semester curriculum will emphasize letter and number recognition as well as writing; and second semester it will emphasize reading and Spanish.  Calendars will go home at the beginning of the month with what will be taught that month.

For instance, one week in the fall, we will focus on A for apple and Adam.  We will practice their names, letters and numbers and in the spring we will begin working on reading for those students who are ready.

WHEN WILL THE CROSSING PRESCHOOL START

There will be a partial week of school the last full week of August; our full program will begin August 30th.  We will follow the Quincy Public School schedule (with the exception to in-service days) that will be distributed in the parent packet

 WHEN IS THE OPEN HOUSE?

The open house for all classes will be in the auditorium.  Our Little Gardener’s (3 year olds) open house is on August 16th. at 6:30 p.m.  The Pre–K open house will be on August 17th at 6:30 p.m.  We will have a time of looking, playing, and meeting the teachers.  There will be a short meeting to go over the handbook and collecting school supplies, registration forms, medical release forms, and registration fees.
